Horse camp changes children. They learn responsibility, patience, and confidence — and they fall in love with these majestic animals. Winnie's Heart of Gold exists to make that experience possible for kids who might never otherwise have the chance.

Winnie joined our family in 2017 at 17 years young. Her patience and kind demeanor made her a favorite for lessons and among campers — especially the newest and youngest riders.
She enjoyed everything about camp: the doting attention, the gentle grooming, the refreshing baths… and, of course, the treats. In turn, she took amazing care of her riders, keeping them safe while they grew their confidence in the saddle.
Winnie helped teach hundreds of children how to ride — and, more importantly, how to love horses.
